Germany follows Central European time (CET) which is one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) at the time of the conference in November.
SAE International are insured only to meet claims arising from incidents caused by the organisers and their equipment. Attendees, exhibitors and visitors are strongly recommended to be properly insured against accidents they may suffer when traveling and during the conference.
American, Canadian, Australian and British nationals travelling to Germany must have a passport valid for three months beyond the length of stay and issued within the past 10 years. Other EU nationals must hold a passport or national ID card which is valid for the duration of stay.
Who needs a visa?
Visa’s for Germany are not required by nationals from EU countries and for nationals of Australia, Canada and the USA and British nationals for stays not exceeding 90 days in a six month period. Nationals not referred to are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements for Germany. SAE will not be held responsible for visa not granted.

An official invitation letter will also be sent upon request. You will find this option during the registration process. This letter however does not involve any commitments by the Conference Organisers to cover fees, accommodation, travel expenses or other costs connected to the participation in the Meeting.
