Travel from airport

By public transport:

There are two train stations at the airport. Düsseldorf Airport railway station and Düsseldorf Airport terminal train station.
Düsseldorf Airport railway station is connected by Skytrain and receives S-Bahn and ICE trains.
Düsseldorf Airport terminal train station can be reached via a moving walkway from the baggage claim area of Terminal C. From the terminal train station, you can travel with the S11 to Bergisch Gladbach via Düsseldorf central station. The S-Bahn S11 departs every 20 minutes from the Düsseldorf Flughafen Terminal railway station to Düsseldorf Central Station and takes between 5 and 12 minutes. Tickets are € 2.70 for adults but may vary and are valid for 90 minutes.

By bus:

The bus station is located in front of the main Arrivals hall. Scheduled buses include the 721 from the Flughafen Terminal A/B/C which travels to the city centre, Worringer Platz, within 40minutes.

By taxi:

The certified Airport taxis offer a special service as they offer payment by credit card, secure local area and language knowledge and navigation systems. They are available at the designated taxi ranks on the Arrivals and Departures level and identified by the Airport taxi sticker. Private companies can also be used such as

By car:

Several car rental companies are based at Düsseldorf Airport for your convenience. Car rental operators are situated in the Arrivals area of the terminal. Here you can order the car which suits your preferences and pick up your car keys. Cars are collected and returned at the hire car center. Companies available include:
